Making Cookies with Hemp

Making Cookies with Hemp - shutterstock_224009455By adding hemp to your cookie recipes, you can turn a typically unhealthy dessert into a tasty treat with natural benefits. The hemp plant produces seeds, which can then be hulled to get to their softer insides, often tagged as hemp hearts. Hemp hearts, which are packed with natural benefits, have a nutty flavor that fit in with cookie ingredients nicely. Hemp hearts can be incorporated into nearly any type of cookie, including common favorites chocolate chip, oatmeal and peanut butter.
