Few health food trends have enjoyed the popularity the acai berry has seen in recent years. Featured seemingly everywhere on TV, in magazines, and in blogs, acai is being hailed as a major breakthrough in healthy eating.
The acai is a dark purple berry that tastes like a combination of wild berries and bitter dark chocolate and is not sweet. The berries grow on the acai palm tree, natively around the Amazon river in South America. They rot quickly and are hard to keep fresh after they ripen, so most acai sold outside of Brazil is found frozen as a pulp.

- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup fresh spinach or kale
- 1 cup fresh or frozen berries
- ¾ teaspoon RSHO™ liquid
Pour into bowl and top with your choice of the following ingredients or more.
- Hemp, flax, or chia seeds
- Fresh sliced fruit, such as kiwi, mango, papaya, banana, pineapple, strawberries, etc.
- Granola or milled oats
- Honey or maple syrup
- Coconut flakes
- Chopped nuts
- Almond or peanut butter
- Raw cacao
